In 2022, ACG, Inc. represented the two food banks in Nebraska, Food Bank for the Heartland in Omaha and the Lincoln Food of Bank, working to get funding for much needed food to be distributed to churches and pantries all across the state. This appropriation of $17.5M in federal ARPA dollars was a first for the state. During the 2023 Legislative Session additional emergency dollars for food were needed and we worked with senators to include in the state budget dollars through the Temporary Assistance for Needly Families Fund (TANF) with a grant program the first year of the biennium budget at $10M.
