In 2023, we established new funding for cancer projects, including Pediatric Cancer Research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center of $2.7M each year of the biennium budget funded through the Health Care Cash Fund, as well as a $500K grants program., also to UNMC each year of the budget, to contract with a statewide cancer nonprofit coalition, supporting the objectives of our client Nebraska Cancer Coalition (NC2) for education and treatment access.
